Lightship Booklet

Insight

The LV14 SULA has existed for over 60 years. My project was to create a booklet that celebrates the textures, shapes, colour and style of this very unique lighthouse on a boat. This booklet would be located on the boat - as a kind of souvenir - once customers stay on the boat they are able to appreciate the boat history and the unique details.

Problem

LV14 SULA is a unique place to stay. There is currently no way of informing the history and interesting facts about the boat to show the uniqueness of this stay. A way to celebrate the identity of the boat that has a light at the top, used previously as a guide for other ships in the 60s.

Solution

Visiting such a unique place to book and stay should be an important factor that should be promoted by the lightboat. Creating a memorable booklet and postcards that you are able to take home creates a sense memorabilia and recognises the history of the boat to create deeper connection to the people who stay on the boat.
