Political Notes is a self published zine about music and politics intertwined. This issue touches upon russians rising band "IC3PEAK" who continously battle the russian government and its censorship. The brief also only allowed the use of one main colour with black and white and the use of red really made sense here. Russia is known for the use of red through history and so it worked very well here. The use of collage throughout also works very well to depict the emotions I wanted to portray.
